League tables will be updated over the weekend

The Winter Season is now full with the 60 places all taken on Wednesday the 1st September at the AGM. 6 current teams did not register and we do not know their status but in line with the usual rules, teams that did not attend on the night are replaced by new ones.

Any new teams now will have to go onto the reserve list and will be contacted in orde if we have any teams that drop out of the league at any stage. IF we get enough extra teams, then we can try and start a extra division.

Congratulations to Stephen Hendrys who beat Fiargate SC C 4-1 in the final.

Friargate Social Club C have made it to the Final Stages of the Champion of Champions EPA Competition by beating Southport venue Birkdale Labour Club 8-4. They will represent our league at the Annual Competition held in early November at Yarmouth. Well Done!

We urgently need as many photos as we can get for the end of season presentation night. If your team is in with a chance of winning something or you have players up for the merit or most improved player, please feel free to email us any photos suitable for use at the Presentation or in the monthly newsletters.

Please can all teams ensure that their tables are at a suitable quality to play matches on. At the very least tables should be brushed prior to any match. Not only will it improve the match but will help keep the cloth clean and it will last longer!

Can ALL team captains make every effort to get their matches started at the correct time which is 8pm, not 8:15pm or later! If you are the HOME team, finish your practice and start! If you are the AWAY team, get there in time to start at 8pm!
